The II Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A New Platform for Global Growth" will be held at the National Centre RUSSIA from 27 to 29 April 2026. As part of the preparations, more than 1,500 essays from 100 countries around the world have already been collected. This represents a large-scale international expert effort and a broad range of ideas about the future of global development.

"In 2026, the Open Dialogue will become a series of events, while the flagship event, as before, will take place in April and bring together experts from all over the world. For several months, people who care have been sending us their essays, sharing ideas on how to make life in the world better. We have received more than 1,500 essays from over 100 countries. As always, expert work will be carried out to analyse this large body of material. The authors of the most interesting and unexpected works will be invited to Moscow so that, in an expanded format, we can discuss new and innovative ideas and proposals," said Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of Russia, Maxim Oreshkin, during his speech at the January Expert Dialogues.

The II Open Dialogue will continue to shape an international platform for discussing global trends, new growth models and practical solutions for the future.

The first Open Dialogue at the National Centre RUSSIA became a forum for discussing the future across four areas: "Investments in Human Capital", "Investments in Technology", "Investments in the Environment", and "Investments in Connectivity". More than 100 guests from 48 countries took part, representing all continents of the world. These included essay authors selected by the Open Dialogue expert council through a competition from 700 submitted works. The essays were written in 18 languages, including Pashto, Malagasy, Serbian, Greek and others. The most popular topic was "Investments in Human Capital" (41%).

The discussion continued at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, where the session "Shaping a New Platform for Global Growth", chaired by Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of Russia, Maxim Oreshkin, presented a final report analysing global trends. The report was prepared by the National Centre RUSSIA’s partner, the Centre for Cross-Industry Expertise "Third Rome".
